When the afternoon craving hits, a protein-rich snack calms it far better than biscuits or namkeen. This savoury curd bowl takes five minutes, needs no cooking, and keeps your blood sugar steady, so the craving does not turn into a crash and a second craving an hour later.

Why it helps

Curd is high in protein, and roasted chana adds even more protein and fibre. Together they slow digestion and steady your blood sugar, which is exactly what stops the craving cycle common in PCOS. Because it is savoury, it also satisfies without adding sugar. How to handle cravings with PCOS

Make it your own

  • Add grated carrot or a few pomegranate seeds for freshness.
  • Swap chana for a small handful of peanuts or a boiled egg on the side.
  • Keep it unsweetened and savoury. That is what makes it steady your blood sugar.
